DFW-area friends: I am very pleased to announce that a month from today, on June 23 at 7:30pm, at the Abbey of Our Lady of Dallas in Irving, Texas I will be hosting a concert at the Abbey in memory of Fr. Denis Farkasfalvy. Along with myself on the organ, the concert includes Eric Lewis, UD Class of 2007, lending his beautiful tenor voice and Sebastian Ober, CPS Class of 2014, playing cello. Featuring works by J.S. Bach, György Ligeti, and Pēteris Vasks, the concert also features the world premiere of my song cycle written in Fr. Denis' memory for tenor and organ, titled “Three Meditations on Holy Saturday.” Attendance is free of charge! Please join us!

I'm very proud to announce that Crossley Danielle Hawn and I will be hosting a concert at St. John the Evangelist-St. Charles Borromeo Parish on April 29 at 6:30pm. Featured on the program are turn-of-the-century works by Louis Vierne (1870-1937), former organist and Notre-Dame de Paris, and a world premiere of a work for solo voice, titled "Three Dream Songs."

At 2:30pm on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, Yasha Borodetsky and I will perform a concert at St. John the Evangelist in Pawling, NY (39 East Main St., Pawling, NY 12564)! The concert will feature works from all across music history, from the early-Baroque to the Modern! For those of you in the area, the concert is open to in-person attendance, and is free to attend. No RSVP is necessary. Come and enjoy some live music for the first time in a while!

I have been invited to the highSCORE Festival in Pavia, Italy, where I will receive lessons from faculty such as Christopher Theofanidis and Dmitri Tymoczko, and attend lectures with Kaija Saariaho, and Jean-Baptiste Barrière. I am writing lucernarium i for the Quartetto Indaco to be premiered at the festival.

As a part of the weekend of organ recitals at Quarr Abbey (on the Isle of Wight off the southern coast of England), on July 9 at 2:30pm, I will be giving a recital on their recently restored Mutin Cavallé-Coll including works by Franck, Vierne, and Glass, and featuring the world premiere of a new work written specifically for the occasion, "your heart is like a great river after a long spell of rain."
